- I am a daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and proud aunt to 4 nephews, 1 niece and 1 unknown due in January. I have 2 sisters, 1 brother, 3 in-laws and wonderful parents! I love riding horses more than anything else! I also love camping and hiking! My favorite smells are the sweat of a horse, leather, and sweet feed. I know, I'm crazy!
Why this Blog?
Dinner & conversation were always very important to Mom and Dad. At our family farm we have a large dinner bell that was often rung very loud and hard (by the kids, of course) to let you know a meal was ready!It didn't matter where you were on the farm, you could hear that bell! Dinner was where we discussed what was going on and when Dad quizzed us on history facts! It has always been a big part of our family. So, I am doing this for my brother John. He's a USMC helicopter pilot and is going overseas in November. This way he can always know what's going on with this crew!
